Product Planning takes that initial idea and develops it into a product people will want to choose, shaping everything from the concept and visuals to how it is promoted.

    Most days wrap up without overtime. After organizing the next day’s tasks and putting the finishing touches on meeting materials, it’s time to head home.

Career Path

From the first year, employees can take an active role in shaping a brand. As they gain experience, their responsibilities and involvement continue to grow.

  • STEP 1

    Assistant

    Learn the fundamentals of product planning by working across a variety of brands. Rather than focusing on a single brand, this stage involves a broad range of tasks to build an understanding of the entire planning process.

  • STEP 2

    Planner

    Begin taking responsibility for a brand while gaining hands-on experience, from preparing instructions for factories to coordinating with internal and external partners. This provides experience across the full brand development process.

  • STEP 3

    Lead Planner

    Begin taking the lead in setting the direction for a brand and working with other departments to turn plans into action. At this stage, both responsibility and autonomy can grow significantly.

  • STEP 4

    Producer

    Reach a stage where responsibility extends across the entire brand, making key decisions on proposals and leading its strategy and development while remaining actively involved in product planning.

Being involved throughout the process, from planning and shoots to coordination, gives me a real sense of responsibility for the brand as a whole. There are opportunities to take the lead on a brand from as early as the first or second year, so I’ve been able to grow through hands-on experience. It’s also incredibly rewarding to see a product I planned rank among the top sellers.
